How to Set Up Flesch–Kincaid Readability in Microsoft Word
Common Core is just around the corner for myself and one of the major lessons I’ve learned is that the difficulty of the text really matters. To help out other teachers, I’ve created a handout on the steps to have your Microsoft Word program give you the Flesch-Kincaid readability. To get the handout click here. The handout has step-by-step directions with images. It takes only seconds to go through the process and you will then be able to do a readability on articles, centers, handouts, or anything your heart desires to use for your classroom. The best part is it is free and you do not need to sign up for a website! Enjoy and if you need any help or have questions feel free to comment below.
The handout has images and directions for each step.
