Sunday Smorgasbord

I’m joining Fabulous in First for her Sunday Smorgasbord! You should head over there to see all the other neat smorgasbord of ideas from great bloggers.
I love zebra themed anything, (and I mean anything). I’ve been working on updating a few things in my classroom and of course, they had to be zebra themed.
Your Zone Zebra Decorative Bath Collection - Wastecan
I purchased a new trash pail for next to my small group table. I found it at Walmart in the bath department for $8.96
I created zebra number circles for 1-100. Click on the picture to download them for free!
I’m also looking for tutorials on how to redo my office chair! I have a cloth office chair at one of my student computers, and it needs a makeover badly. If you know of an excellent tutorial that doesn’t require a lot of skills, please send it my way.
Be sure to follow me on Facebook! I’ve been sharing some awesome flash freebies from all the great teacher-bloggers I follow. Click on the picture to head to my Facebook page! Also, if you’re an awesome blogger on Facebook share the link. I would love to follow you!
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful week!
I’m also looking for bloggers to link up here. I’ll be sharing this next week when I present at the TETA conference. I would like to provide all these great teachers from across TN with awesome blogs to check out.

Free Lesson Plans

While on one of my favorite websites, (Scholastic) I found that they have added a database of lesson plans. You can search the database by grade, subject, types, and keywords. The lesson plans include descriptions, directions, resources, and assessments. The same website also has a daily starter for language, math, and a fun fact. The daily starter has two views; a teacher view and a student view. The daily starters can also be printed and are updated each day. The site also has free resources for the Smart board. The sites are separated into categories and then they have the age listed under each resource.
